I've installed Microsoft Private Folder, after some time i've upgraded my operationg system to Vindows Vista. I know my password and i can see the files but they are ecrypted so i can't open these files. Please help me, i don't know how to recover these files. Thnx.

your in trouble. Might have to UNINSTALL Vista to get them back!!

If you refer to the private encrypted folders, then you are out of luck, as they are created using a security ID which is link to your user account on XP, if yuo upgraded, you can try to uninstall Vista and you may just be able to retrieve these files.

hi buddy .... i would advise you to uninstall microsoft private folder and then after restarting your PC , try to access your files ...... lets c if it works ...... all the best ...... please note my dear friend ....this is just a suggesstion and not an answer :)
