x-intercept is
put x=0
the eq becomes
4y-6=0
4y=6
y=3/2
similarly for y-intercept
put y=0
2x=6
x=3
so x-intercept=(3,0)
& y-intercept=(0,1.5)

when x=0 =>4y-6=0 => y = 3/2 (y-intercept)
when y=0 => 2x-6=0 => x=3(x-intercept)

To find x-intercept, set the value of y to zero .

2x + 4y - 6 = 0
2x + 4(0) - 6 = 0
2x + 0 - 6 = 0
2x - 6 = 0
2x - 6 + 6 = 0 + 6
2x = 6
2x/2 = 6/2
x = 3 ===> x-intercept

To find y-intercept, set the value of x to zero.

2(0) + 4y - 6 = 0
0 + 4y - 6 = 0
4y - 6 = 0
4y - 6 + 6 = 6
4y = 6
4y/4 = 6/4
y = 6/4
y = 1 1/2 ==> y-intercept

In finding x-intercept let the value of y be equal to 0. Then, solve for the value of x. It means the x-intercept is (x,0)...do the same thing in y-intercept let the value of x be equal to 0 then solver for y. y-intercept is (0,y).. x-intercep is (3,0), y-ntercept is (0,3/2)

To find the x intercept you substitute y = 0 and solve the equation. 3

To find the y intercept you substitute x = 0 and solve the equation. 1.5

2x + 4y -6 = 0

2x + 4y = 6

2(x+2y) = 6

x + 2y = 3

here x and y might be 1

y=mx+b ' standard form
@ 2x+4y-6=0
y= (-2x+6)/4 , y= -x/2 + 2/3
b=2/3= y-intercept

x= (-4y + 6)/ 2 , x= -2y + 3
x-inetrcept is 3
