I am scared to death to go to one. I'm a virgin but I have masturbated with my hairbrush and I'm scared that a gynecologist would ask me about my broken hymen. I'm terrifed of gynecologists.
What's your opinion?

A gynecologist will almost certainly not ask about your broken hymen. It is actually quite typical for virgins to have broken hymens for a number of reasons. In general, gynos do not make any comments about your privates unless there is an actual medical concern.

A gynecologist may ask about your sexual history (mine has not) and if they do just let them know that you are a virgin.
As for your hymen being broken it can be broken for lots of reasons such as due to a fall, and in my case I got mine broken a different way (no not sex).
Let the dr know you are concerned about this visit. You can even ask to talk to them in plainclothes first before anything as far as an exam happens.
When it does come to the exam a really good gynecologist will explain everything they are doing as they do it so that you won't feel as afraid. They will do everything they can to make this experience less frightening for you.

Gynos are not interested in why you broke your hymen. They are just checking your health and believe me when I say they will have seen one or two girls before you walked through the door so you will hold no surprises for her. Go and see one.

A gyno will likely ask you if you're sexually active, but if your hymen is not intact, then it could be due to physically active sports, and they may not even ask how it was broken!

Let the gynecologist know you are a virgin so he/she will know to be especially gentle with you. They will not care about your broken hymen but if they ask, let them know you masturbate. They will not think any less of you for it, They just want to be sure to treat you properly for your situation.
