How do i get rid of stains caused by spray sun tan lotion out of my bikini??

I went to the beach today and tried this Austrailian Gold Spray sun tan lotion and i think it also had like an instant bronzer or something. When I came home I noticed it all over my bikini swimsuit, how do i get the stains out?

My suit is white with pink and black stars on it. If you also need to know the exact name of the lotion I could possible dig it out of the trash.

I tried washing it regularly and it didnt come out completely.

I hope you can help because i just bought this bathing suit and i lovvvvveeeee it so much!

As the designer for Xen swimwear I can tell you that you have a problem if your suit is not made of a good of quality swim wear grade fabric.

Quite a few manufacturers try save a few cents by using untreated Lycra. These stain easily. Check - try remember - if the label says / said Lycra if not then it is likely a Chinese polymer blend.

If you have a product called Vanish in your country. I suggest that youtry anyway but i am unsure if it will work as you may have embedded the stain.

Woollite and most other detergents attack the Elastine.

Someone suggested pure dish washing liquid that does work to a degree if the stain is fresh but DO NOT leave un-rinsed for longer that five minutes. Make sure you get every bit of it out.

Good swimwear grade Fabrics have a stain resistant treatment that lasts the life of the garment.

Good luck

You will probably have to throw the suits out. That's what celebs do (there is no special brozer that doesn't stain clothes), but they get all those free clothes so they don't care. If you plan on still useing the bronzer, then keep the suit, so you just don't ruin more suits.

Before you toss out that suit,,,,, Try putting full strength liquid dish soap on it. Let the soap sit as long as you can stand it. An hour or so would be best..

try Woolite. It sounds like to me you need to throw that suit away.Oh and are you sure the stains are from lotion and not a poop accident?
