Not technically shopping. I am planning decorations for 2 Christmas dances and a New Years one. I've started getting my ducks in a row. I buy off season and when I can get free, or discounted shipping. I learned this by being a floral designer for many years.

Yes! my wife buys bits all year so that come xmas its not such a strain on the finances, spread the cost.
Oh and i`ve bought Aziz 15 a pound of bacon and some pork chops!!!
