A friend's wife had an "accident" with her office mate. They went to Frankfurt in order to attend the company's annual world meeting in the company's headquarter. Her local office didn't allocate that much to give them each room. So they slept in the same room for 5 days and in the last day, the lust was in their head, then...

They didn't prepped with safety.

The next week she checked, and wooaa it gave 2 stripes. My friend cannot tolerate this and still acting like a nut since last week when he knew bout it.

What would you do if you're in his position?

What should I tell him?

**O, my friend's wife is 38 and her office mate is a junior, still about 20s the office send him because of his fluent French & German. The conference was held in German and her local office only got him.
She had 2 children with my friend. My friend is 43, but in this case he's acting like 13 years old adolesensce

The whole hotel room thing sounds a total fabrication, if it was a "world meeting" surely there were other females attending with whom she could have shared a room. Not only is she a faithless little tramp but to make it even worse she is stupid as well. If she had half a brain she would have had proper contraception available and in the event of it failing had a quick termination and said nothing about the whole matter. By telling her husband it seems clear that she is deliberately trying to end their marriage. Your friend is not acting like a 13 year old, he is a man who has just had his world kicked out from under him. The person who recommended that he forgive her and raise the child as his own needs to come into the real world, seeing that child every day would never allow the wound to heal.
I had a similar situation with my first wife and although she miscarried the child I still threw her out and that was the best day's work I ever did.

He should probably divorce her. There is no excuse for infidelity - ever. And it sure as hell wasn't an "accident" - they are both old enough to know what they were doing. Unless it was rape (and it sure doesn't sound like it.) As a married woman, she should have refused to share a room with a male co-worker. He should take the kids he already has and leave. She can deal with the new kid any way she wants - any bets on whether her co-worker will step up to the plate?

I haven't heard of that careless person as that woman. Your friend should go away immediately, or in some point in time she will leave him when he needs her most. He should not even bother to divorce - if there is someone to beg for anything it is her. He is not obliged to do anything for her anymore.

Her actions were mistake by mistake: 5 days in same room with the colegue, sleepeng with him, no protection, TELLING HER HUSBAND instead to resolve it by herself, instead of throwing on him the resposibillity for the future of 4 people (him, her, the colegue and the unborn child). The last mistake tells that she is irresponsible, unreliable not a grown up person. Your frend should leave immediately.

After how many years of marriage you couldn't spend 5 days with someone without jumping their bones? Why didn't wifey phone home or pay for a seperate room of her own? Wasnt the bunking together a conflict of interest in the first place? Divorce her azz!

Why the hell was he ok with her sleeping in the same room with another man for five days? Thats the problem i see. Of course at some point lust is going to set in. Being true to your partner is better accomplished without putting one self in a position of temptation.

don't criticize your friend for his reaction. put yourself in his shoes, what would you do...go crazy right? this is a very sensitive thing, not only did the trifling ho cheat on him, but she had the nerve to cheat unprotected, then pop up pregnant. try to listen to your friend so he can voice his emotions instead of bottling them all up and taking it out on his whore-ish, yet pregnant wife. since they have children in the home, try to get him to let his anger out outside of the home. the children don't need to be involved in that. then, advise him that if he really loves her, he should let her decide what to do instead of convincing her to abort. after all, it's not the fetus' fault that it was concieved in such conditions. if your friend is so heart broken that he would want her to abort if he were to ever get over this, than maybe he should walk away. either way, killing an innocent child won't make things better on top of the fact that it's just plain wrong.

No abortion. The baby shouldnt die just b/c the parents were stupid. I would than divorce the wife without any other words between us. There would be no need to communicate any further. They were 2 adult doing what they shouldn't have been and the silence between the wife would be golden.

This is "her" problem. I don't think abortion is the right thing to do. After all, the child is half her. She and her husband will have to work this out between themselves, and it is none of your business. Butt out!

In an ideal situation, if he really loves her he would forgive her, support her and treat the child as his own. That would only happen if two adults were involved.

Shouldn't the would be father have a say in this? Is he prepared to pay for any of the expenses?

As for the marriage - it might linger on - but the trust is gone.

It is just a matter of time before one or the other of them gives 'payback'.

Sorry - but it is doomed. Not just for the unborn baby.

Divorce, or a threesome- Not too many choices here. The abortion thing is her call not his.

I would be pretty pissed over that and would fly the coop on her and do the divorce.
