It seems that ASH dose not know where East Asia is. There is little HIV/AIDS in East Asia unless you wish to say South Korea because of the large US military presence.
In Southeast Asia there is a considerable amount of HIV/AIDS. The largest numbers per population would be Cambodia, Thailand, the Philippines, Burma, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia then Singapore in that order (unless things have changed in the past year).
I am unsure of the Indian sub-continent, but I would say India before Sri-Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
There are a number of African countries with a large HIV/AIDS problem.
The best source of information would be for you to google the World Health Organisation (WHO) and check their statistics.
