They say we often compare men to dogs and women to cats ... because men possess many traits that dogs do, and women have some of the same characteristics that cats do. Do you think this is myth ... or maybe there is actually truth to this? What do ya think?

I really never compared men to dogs and women to cats. And no educated person should do. You are thinking in the terms of common language. In other countries people will give you different answers about men and women.

You know, there are many legends in Taiwan and Southeastern China about dog ancestors.
My personal opinion is that men were God's first attempt to make a thinking creature, and as a first attempt, the most imperfect one

I dunno...some men can be sneaky or stealthy like cats, and dogs surely do not possess those traits to any real degree.. lol

Hmmm, that's a good question. I guess it depends on the women you ask. I've heard a lot of women refer to men as pigs more than as dogs.

For the most part, I'd say "No"! Dogs are loyal, compassionate, sympathetic, patient (if trained right), ALWAYS glad to see you, attentive, protective, giving, kind, nurturing.
Yep...I'd say they've got most human MALES beat by a mile! (Except for Cesar Millan!)
And If women were like cats...there'd by no spousal abuse or rape! (Ever try to handle a cat when it doesn't WANT you to???)
