I changed birth control pills about a month ago (because they were out of the ones I'd been taking)...this would've been my first period while taking them. I should have started this past Wednesday, but haven't. Would changing the type of pill cause a missed period?

As the dr said yes changing brands of birth control pills can cause a missed period to occur and altering the cycle for a short time. I've had this happen a couple of times.

She'll have an early period. Missing just one pill can do it. It happens to me all the time. In the middle of my pack I'll miss a pill and have a 2-3 day period and then have one again when my sugar pills start. Its normal.

Hi Me in tn, I would think it would. If you are not comfortable about this go see your doctor if it will make you feel better about this. But i really think it is the different birth control pill.
