Size can be a problem, especially if your girlfriend hasnt been sexually active for long, but the likely culprit is lack of lubrication.
If you are very well endowed, and you think that is the problem, try different positions until you can find one that is comfortable for her and pleasurable for you both. Oh, and use plenty of lubrication/lots of foreplay!

It is very normal to be sore after rigorous sex. Plus, the soreness might be caused by vast amounts of friction caused by being less than wet during sex. I would try using more lubrication during sex and trying out different positions. Doggie-style works very well for alleviating soreness during sex. Keep trying, you'll get the right position eventually!

My wife and i had this problem when we first met, not enough lubrication, after three kids, the soreness went away along with the orgasms or that could be on my behalf, either way it is very humbling.

yes its usually when you have rough or vigorus sex for more than a few minutes, it causes too much friction and will cause irritation or swelling so be slow & gentle more of the time and change around positions, & yea like the others said she might be getting dry, try water based lubricant.... the other thing if you use condoms she can be allergic to latex (mild burning, itching, dryness is the common symptom of latex allergies) so if nothing else helps try a different kind

From what I've learned from married friends sex should not hurt at all but if it does it can be because of size or if there is roughness going on. If neither of these are an issue then she could have a medical problem such as vulvodynia (pain of the external genital area called the vulva). The only way to find out for sure is to have this evaluated by her dr to see what they think could be going on.

convinced, that's conceivable to hit the cervix in the course of sex, searching on the region, the thrust and the point of arousement contained in the female. yet for it to reason discomfort afterwards is fairly a hardship, i shows she sees a widespread practitioner. Edit: I wager the man who thumbed me down actual don't have a cervix.

Not unless you're super big. Most likely cause is you're too forceful or she's not lubricated enough
