So why is it that the working poor of America have been so brain washed as to accept capitolisim to such an extreme - and out of control extreme that only gets the rich richer and the poor poorer

for the most part america's poor only has access to the resources that the "upper class" and their puppets in washington allot for them.
you can't honestly expect them to teach the poor that there's other options besides capitalism.

The working class blindly strives to achieve the "american dream" hard work and sacrifice will make you rich. that's the bull that they're given, if that were true, then a majority of the people would be rich, or at least very well of, but they're not

wow that's a pretty bleak out look. If that were true as you have stated it then capitalism would have been tossed aside years ago. But you left out some things I think. First of all we are a representative republic with a constitution that grants every citizen the freedom to the persuit of happiness. That is the difference between socialism and a free society. Another words we have the opportunity through hard work and sometimes sacrifice to be what ever we want to be. To be as rich as we want if we use the capitalistic system to our advantage as an individual. Sure it isn't easy most never even try. But the opportunity is still there. In a socialistic society that opportunity is not there. It's easy to blame the rich for the problems of the poor for some. I choose not to. And I am far from rich. I am sorry you are so negative on this matter. But in my years here on earth I have yet so see a better way of life then what America has to offer.

Ever see the movie, "The grapes of Wrath."
It is about poor Oklahoma farmers who move to California to escape poverty. It was shown in the old Soviet Union, as propaganda about how poor the people in the US are, how capitalism exploits them, etc. The people in the Soviet Union thought the poor Okie farmers were so lucky to live in a country like the US, where you were free to pick up and move, without having to get permission from the govt.,

Only weak people rely on the false protection of socialism. socialist countries have been feeding off of america for years. when are socialist going to fend for themselves. thats when they will learn socialism does not work in a large governmet form
