I know where you're coming from - I've been there myself before. I never believed in psychics and as for horoscopes, I was convinced that it was impossible for there to be only twelve types of people; everyone was different in a way, no?
Well, to be honest, I delved deeper into the subject of astrology and strangely enough I found out there's more to just the twelve types of character that are represented by the twelve signs of the zodiac. The more I found out, the hungrier I became for more information... now, about 8 years later, I'm convinced that astrology holds more truth than people would like you to believe. It would take me ages to explain everything about astrology, and I'm not sure Yahoo will give me that much space, so I strongly suggest you go on a little discovery adventure yourself... It's worth the effort, that is, if you are willing to put the effort in it.
As for psychics, I strongly believe I have gifts that would brand me as a 'psychic' but in general, I don't believe in the psychics that tell our fortune for a bit of money - even though, hypocrite as I am, I used to do that myself.
It's nice to know things in advance, but sometimes it's a right b**** to know things in advance. I just use whatever 'gifts' I have for personal gain rather than financial gain. I don't like to delve into people's pasts presents or futures - it's just too frightening.

For the most part, NO.
But, if you read your horoscope in the morning newspaper, and it says that "you will have a great day and encounter an influential individual," then I think for the rest of that day you will subconsciously be thinking about that horoscope and you will have a great day and find someone that you met that was somewhat influential.
Whether or not that horoscope was telling the truth....you may never know. :)

Yeah I believe in horoscopes one time I looked in the news paper for my horoscope it said "YOU WILL FACE CHALLENGES TODAY!" and guess what happened my friends invited me to lunch and we had a "ICE TEA" drinking competition It was so CHALLENGING i won by two jugs TOTAL SCORE me: 15 my friend :13 the other guy : 6. Physics really helped me that day if it didn't exist the ice tea couldn't go down my throat.

nah, not after I saw a headline on the Tonight Show that says "Pschic hit by train." That and an online psychic told me I would get into Yale or Berkeley (with a 2.87 gpa? What was she smokin'?)
