At the final judgement hearing from a divorce, I was awarded the house which had 2 loans to be paid . Can my ex withdraw money from those loans? Are the loans frozen from any activity? And if he did withdraw money, what happens to him?

you got the house and the loans to deal with...that's all yours. he might be responsible to repay a portion of those loans but, he can't take money out because now they are yours. if he does which i doubt he can without the deed being in his name...you can throw him in jail...thats federal ! best bet...you need to talk to the divorce lawyer...why didn't you ask this in court ? you're getting divorced and you don't know yet to ask, ask , ask and ask more questions. that's what you pay your lawyer for, honey

If the house is yours, then everything to do with that house is yours also (such as loans, mortgages, etc).

If he messes with that, then you lawyer up and sue his asss!

Cheers

I think I'd call my lawyer back and ask him for sure, and have him put something in writing so you BOTH know.,before your ex has a chance to.

He is going against a court order, get your lawyer to look into it. This is not legit.
