All of these are WRONG and if this from a tectbook than that textbook ought to be scrapped.
Note - - - B is dead wrong, at most two battleships were destroyed plus an old target ship The Utah - - - several ships were laid up for repairs for weeks or months but the fleet was not destroyed.

We entered the war in Europe a day after the attack at pearl harbor, We joined WWII a day afterword as well (goes without saying), and very few Japanese planes were destroyed. How else could they have had so many other naval battles?
