Try a place called Laser Concepts. There are several in the Chicago area but believe the web site showed alot of them or something similar nationwide.

It is a newer version of acupuncture. I smoke 2 and a half packs a day for most of 37 years. I quit for three years in my 30's using the acupuncture method. I recently quit ( over 5 months now) with the newer version called Laser Concepts.

Cost was around $300.00 dollars. It is surprising how much cravings it stops. Nothings perfect of course, and I have had my moments of cravings but over all its been pretty good.

Process takes about 20 minutes and there is no puncturing of the skin. I wish you luck. ( Most of these places will let you come back for a 2nd free take if it is under 6 months)

I've never smoked before, but I know what it is like to really want to do something and keep yourself from doing it. I did it to lose weight and eat healthier. It was so difficult not to get food and eat it. The problem is you are battling with yourself, against something that you Desire. You have to Over come yourself. You will feel horrible like you are a massive failure if you give in, and you'll feel so proud when you don't do it. There is no point to smoking except that i know it makes you feel good. But you have to set yourself in a Mental state where you would never want to smoke, and never be one that would smoke. In order to do that you may have to write down on a piece of paper "i will not smoke ever again" a few times. or say it out loud when you wake up in the morning. It has to become a ritual in life. you have to Break your current pattern, which is the hardest step, but the biggest.

Don't buy anymore. I just don't understand what's going on here. You're like "I don't wanna smoke anymore" , but then you go and smoke more. Perhaps you have split personality and only your bad half buys the cigarettes and smokes them. Your body is arguing with itself and you are winning. Psycho...
