Apart from the white stripes/franz f/kooks are there any bands making consistently good ORIGINAL music anymore? i think music is gradually becoming soulless and it saddens me really....

Hip hop is killing real music. Anybody that can make a noise seem to bring out a hip hop cd. Why do you think there are so many beautiful girls in their videos,it is to distract you from the horrible music they make.

I'd say heavy metal is dying like Metallica, I prefer the old stuff from most metal bands.

its your soul thats dulled with being isolated from all music types
i guess its called growing up
listen to some other music types especially classical

i think that the rock genre in rising higher, the rap/hip hop is slowly dying......
