First of all, you should not have disconnected the built in speaker that gives the beep codes w/c could be translated to error messages. The computer is not fine if there are beeps/error messages. High frequency beeps while PC is running is an indication of processor overheating.
Improve your case ventilation or temporarily run w/ case open and an electric fan pointed to the motherboard. AND PUT BACK the onboard speaker! Otherwise, you might toast something in there.

If guildwars is run off of a disc then it sounds like it's a problem with the disc. If it is not that then it could be your monitor trying to display a resolution higher than it is capable of, or a hard drive problem.
