That spongy white thing is the "pork" in a can of pork n beans. It is fat-back (that's the limit of my knowledge, so don't ask what fat-back is). My dad likes it. I throw it out.

What is that spongy white thing you always find in a can of baked beans? Is that edible? I usually try to avoid it, but sometimes I eat it by mistake.
