I'd try these first:
Let It Be
Can't Buy Me Love
She Loves You
Help
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds
Yesterday
Hard Days Night
Elenor Rigby
Come Together
I reckon that's a good mix of all the stages of their music. Enjoy and welcome to the world of The Beatles :)
P.S If you like the music see if you can grab a copy of their movies "Hard Days Night" and "Help!" ooh and "Yellow Submarine".

Try the double album The Beatles 1962-1966. You'll probably recognize almost every song on that album. Follow that up with The Beatles 1967- 1970. Then Congratulate yourself for listening to such good music.

Peny Lane is a great place to start! The Beatles went from 'Love Me Do' to Sgt Pepper in only 4 years, which is astonishing. 'Penny Lane' is probably one of many, many high points.
Also try:
'Across The Universe'
'O Bla Di O Bla Da'
'Blackbird'
'Helter Skelter'
Those 5 songs are all great, but cover so many different styles.

"All you need is love" is my favorite song, but they have many good ones! I would recommend downloading/buying their "1" album, which has 27 number one hits. Songs like: "Hey Jude", "Can't buy me love", "We can work it out", "Penny Lane" are just a few.
