Check out your local library for books like "Fast Cash for Kids" by Bonnie & Noel Drew. The book is well written to provide for you some businesses you can start on your own, how to start, how to keep records, and how to make and use money wisely. "Fast Cash..." is only one of many books that your library system may have. Talk to your Librarian for other books that will get you on the right track with using your skills, time and energy to making a nice little income as well as experience in business that will help you throughout your career.

Talk to your parents and try knocking on doors in your neighborhood. Promote yourself as a young person looking to earn extra money by doing odd jobs around the house.

Another thing you can do is clean your room and look for things you don't need or want anymore. Clothes, toys, are examples of things you migh be able to take to a consignment store. Talk to your folks about having a garage sale.

you could do yardwork, work with animals, work with children, get a paper route, sell stuff-not sure how you get hooked up with these places but i've known a few kids that did that for extra cash, hmmm.....you could help the elderly in your neighborhood-such things like taking out garbage, helping to carry in the grocieries, etc.

Weeding is big, try that. Look for lawns that need weeding and charge 10 hr. or by the job.
