It's been a while but I remember having the most fun my sophomore year. Initiation to high school is out of the way with freshman year being behind you and you don't have to get serious about the future just yet like you do in your junior year, and senior year is just all about denial. So just have fun and enjoy your sophomore year!

For no particular reason I will tell you a long story. In my freshmen year I sat behind this amazing girl, first girl to ever consider me doable, if that is a word. She came on pretty hard considering we were 14. In a few weeks I was thinking about her constantly. The entire year I went by making some pretty good friends, I had perfect grades, but I didn't ask the girl on a single date. I have never seen her outside of school. I come back my sophomore year after summer and she is dating this guy, who I thought was gay. That went on for a while until she found out he shaved his legs. So she was single again, but I never made a move, I started to think the whole thing was a big joke. A couple weeks went by and she hooked up with this greasy freshmen kid who ended up taking nude pictures of her and posting them on the Internet. So she broke up, and I didn't do anything. I acted like I didn't know about it to avoid an uncomfortable conversation. So a couple weeks went by and she started dating some identical fag. I went on being pissed off at the world and now in my junior year I completely ignore her. And about 6,000 run-on sentences later I will now act like some cool-*** wise **** head and underline the theme of this tale. Anything you do in high school is going to be dumb in some way, in the end it will probably suck, or give you false confidence for the future. Never hesitate, don't drink, get laid. To acually answer your question 1) it was alright 2) not much 3) apply to the top four public universtities in-state. - Good Luck

IT REEKED!!! Well, my entire high school experience did, but 10th grade was notable since I was forced by my mother to go to the senior prom with a guy I barely knew, who looked like Leave it to Beaver, as a pimply teen! I wore an awful dress, got a sunburn, couldn't digest my food and had to listen to Tijuana Brass music!

But then, I was a Hippie, so that motivated me to go further away from the mainstream and I've been there (happily) ever since! College, btw, was GREAT!

relating to a similar. the different years are not all that distinctive, it relies upon on the intensity of the instructions. Taking AP or more suitable instructions as a freshman is tougher than taking universal as a sophmore.

Sophomore year (yes, it's spelled sophomore) was when I took the PSAT's. Then all these private colleges started mailing me all these brochures and such.
If you're currently doing bad in school and want to go to a decent college, get your act together. Colleges look at Junior year.

it was fun. The pressure of being the freshman newbie kids was over and things just got better. More fun stuff to do. the work got harder but working hard paid off. and like I said there was more fun stuff.

I didn't even think about college until my senior year. My sophomore year was crazy. I had the most friends, and did the most stuff that year. Some good stuff, some stupid stuff. Unfortunately, tentions between us caused our "group" to kind of drift apart by my junior year.

no pressure at all about college stuff...that came junior year. And for me personally I HATED the ninth grade so my sophmore was awesome....I think it was my favorite year.
