There were a MILLION Lisa's in my graduating class over 10 years ago. These would be babies born in the late 70s.

I think today's parents have gotten away from it because it was SOOO overused in their generation. So, to answer your question, no, I don't think it's as popular today as it once was. But it's still very pretty.

Lisa was number 1 during the 1960s. In more recent years, it was ranked 493 in 2005, 431 in 2004, and 370 in 2003.

I would have to say that it is not as popular as it was but I know three people named Lisa and I think it is a beautiful name. x x

type in top 100 baby names into a search engine like google and see if lisa appears on a list.

i am not sure that it is that popular anymore, but popularity shouldn't matter, if you like the name that is all that counts!

I know it was the number one name in 1969 because that's my name and I was born in 1969 (I looked it up). I don't think it's that common now, though, I hardly hear the name these days.
