I was 16 years old I was with 3 of my friends my friend cj was driving he went out to pass another car there was a car flying twards us in the other lane. We collided! Head on. Unfortunatly CJ died. My friend Laura was in the passanger seat and was pushed under the dash and hurt pretty bad. mangled her arm shattered her jaw and ruptured her spleen
My cousin Joel was behind CJ and fortunatly was not hurt at all.But obviously the mental pain to gothrough it all. As for me I was in the back seat without a seatbelt I flew over the seat and through the windshield. I fractured my skull, shattered my pelvis bones and broke my wrist. Laura and I were flown by helicopter to a good hospital. I should have died!!! My head was double in size. because of the fractures my brain had room for the swelling when the swelling went down the chipped the fractured bone away then replaced it with titanium plates
5 in total!!! And I got a face lift out of the deal. lol. My pelvis bones were shattered and my hips were out of place but they popped everything back in place. Put a cast on my wrist and waited they kept me in a coma for 5 days with resperator finally they let me wake up. I was still me!! I was not a vegtable. By day 11 they sent me home. WOW I know I am a miracle. Laura was in the hospital for a couple of weeks more they managed to fix her jaw and save her arm. She is still having problems with it. 10 years later. CJ is always in our memorys. He was a dear friend.

Yes. I was coming home one night quite a few years ago and was wearing boots. I slowed down, at least I thought I did, to make a turn and my right boot got caught between the accelerator and the brake and as I took the turn I was trying to get it unstuck and went out of control. Ended up driving into a ditch then back out into the road and then finally flattened a mailbox. Ended up in the ER of course. The paramedics thought a leg was broken, but it wasn't. It was just a bone bruise. There was a severe bone bruise in the shape of the steering wheel around my chest and I now have a permanent dent in my forehead. Was in the hospital overnight for a concussion. That was the second wreck.

The first one I was going home from my boyfriends house and I passed out from low-blood sugar and ran into a power pole. My boyfriend became concerned when I didn't call him and he started driving to look for me and found me passed out. He had to break a window in order to get to me. I almost broke my neck in that one.

Another one was when I came around a mountain corner and the car starting sliding. It hit a icey spot. That spun the car to where it hit the side of a cliff then the car spun around and started going toward the edge of a cliff and I don't know what happened that made the car turn in another half circle, but it did. Thank goodness it was in the early morning and there were no cars in the area. I only suffered a strained muscle in my shoulder.

I just turned 19 & got my license when I was 16. I have been in a total of four wrecks, and believe me I cried so hard every single time. It is not something you will ever be okay with! Two of mine were fender benders, & I still bawled. I actually totaled 2 of my cars. My first car accident I was in was my fault. I was turning into my friends drive way and was hit on the passenger side of the car. I am so lucky that no one was sitting in the passenger seat--they would have been crushed to death I'm sure. My car was spun around and stopped when it crashed into a tree head on, shattering my windows & deploying the air bags. Are bags have the worst smell, & I thought my car was on fire from all of the smoke! The 2nd major car accident was when a car turned in front of me thinking they had a green arrow to turn when they had a red light. I was going straight at about 45 mph when we hit. My air bags deployed & my entire face was burning so bad I was afraid my skin was literally burnt. I have never gotten hurt somehow, of course I think God & my seatbelt really have made all the difference. Back problems & neck problems will always be here though. =[ Just always wear your seatbelt & be safe driving! =]

I ws making a left hand turn across two lane of traffic and couldn't see around the guy acroos from me trying to do the same. I hadn't seen any cars for a few seconds so I thought it was safe and when I went I got T-boned. Both cars went spinning. My car was totalled but thankfully I was wearing a seatbelt and just had a bruise on my chest. I can still see that Cadillac in slow motion slamming into the side of my car and seeing the passenger windows shatter.

Number one: someone rear ended me when I stopped at a stop sign...no damage at all...just a little bump, but I had just started driving and it really freaked me out.

Driving happily along in the snow (and slow too) when I started spinning and spinning and ran down a ditch and into a big snow drift...had to climb to the back of the car to get out...no damage to the car, but took some effort getting it out of the ditch.

Number two: Some dumbo ran a red light and hit my friend's car which turned sideways and then we hit a second car...people were amazed we all walked away from that one.

Number three: Guy rear ended me when I stopped at a red light...mess up my Honda civic real good.

Number four: At the same time this lady and I back our cars out into a parking lot, I simply did not see her and hit her Camry...bashed into the door...she was real nice about it, but was surprised that there was absolutely no damage to my Honda CRV.

Yes, a car pulled out in front of me from a stop sign - I swerved and slammed my brakes on at the same time and only rammed his driver's back end--it would've been HIM if I didn't act quickly- bad idea on my part though- he was annoyed because he was in a hurry to a wedding and walked away without any injury- I can't lift anything over 20 lbs FOREVER and that included my little girl who turned 3 on the day of the accident. I am thankful she wasn't in the car with me---I have nerve damage and muscle damage in my back---but at least I don't have nightmares of killing someone!

Yeah, a few. Some while I was driving. Never even got a scratch though. The worst one was when I rolled my car three times in the snow at about 30 mph. I didn't think that could happen going that slow.

We TOTALLY hit a cow last Easter. There were 13 of them in the road! In the dark! It died. Sad. But the family was not injured at all! And the car WASN"T totaled! If we had been going any faster or slower it would have landed in our laps. But, it flipped over our car! Got a $1300 ticket for no insurance! OUCH!

Sure have.

I was checking my blind spot to switch lanes. When I looked out the windshield again the car in front of me had stopped. I rear ended him causing a chain reaction of 3 vehicles and 1 boat over a busy bridge during rush hour traffic.

Let's just say, airbags aren't as soft as car commercials depict them. Beating my head on the sidewalk would have been softer. To this day I can't smell vinyl without freaking out.
