Had a friend of a friend rop me off for four hundred dollars. His car broke down about a week later, I towed it into the boonies and set it on fire.

I had an assistant manager who was horrible to the techs. He was single and a nice looking guy so he always had women around. any way I and a few others got a couple of girls to call the other store asking for the district managers number. That store manager (also single party guy) persistently wanted to know what the problem was, but she wouldn't tell ,she finally got the number from an assistant mgr(we had it anyway but to make a good show) She called the DM and complained about him making passes and trying to make a special deal for her (like $75.00 for a full set of premium tires and full alignment)
The other girl complained of his advances and offering to make a special deal for a stereo system installed
He got investigated from security and Regional and District managements.
Did I mention that he had a habit of swapping finished work orders to his favorite tech even when not at work.
He got the option to resign or be fired.
We didn't realize he was tapping the till so much ,in about the seven months he was there the store lose had more than quadrupled, after his leaving the lose went back down to just plain too much but well bellow the expected normal allowable.
The "super tech " got the idea he needed to go elswere.

Generally speaking, I live by the maxim "Living well is the best revenge." I take this to mean that if I focus on the pleasures of my own life and don't waste my time trying to make someone else's life unpleasant, I won't be dragging around some perceived "wrong" for the rest of my life.
Revenge is an enormous waste of time and energy. It just keeps resentment and frustration alive.

I leave revenge up to God. He does a much better job at it than I do. I had an uncle who treated his family like a dog all fo his life. When he was 65 he was yelling at my aunt and dropped dead - face down in a bowl of dog food. An ex-landlord treated his tenants like lowlifes and ripped them off badly and his house burned down and the one rebuilt in its place has been empty for more than a year now. Lots of things like that and the more I clean my mind out of the things that mean ugly people have done to me, the worse their "punishment" is...I love it! I'm waiting for two people right now to get theirs ha ha

If you want to stand like a man you will forgive this person and call their loss of your friendship revenge enough. If you believe enough in yourself, then you will embrace this simple advice.
