my nephew was playing with it & now the view switch to horizontal instead of normal. how do i change it to regular view?

RIGHT Click on your desktop and there will be some option like monitor or monitor orientation or somehting... change it to normal

This sounds more like he was playing with the monitor itself then the screen controls on the computer.

You can adjust the screen controls on the computer by Right Clicking on the desk top. Go to settings and make your adjustments from there.

Now for the monitor itself. you will either have a wheel or buttons to choose from. Find the menu button then look for the corresponding picture to your picture problem. There is normally a default option on most monitors to set it back to factory in case things get a little too far out of whack.

Your computer may be very from these instruction a bit, it all depends on what type of video card you have.

Right click on a open area on your desk top, click "Properties", click "Settings", click "Advanced". There should be a setting here for "Rotation".

are u talking abt the monitor display ???

right click in desktop -> properties -> settings -> advance -> the the graphics tab (it may vary depending up the display driver)

u have to find out the monitor rotation settings in it and change it.

The right click on desktop should work but if there is no desktop orientation setting on your desktop try ctrl-alt-up arrow, and it should orient it correctly.

press and hold down "alt+ctrl+different arrow keys(either up or down)" to get the screen view right....
