Is it true employers are looking at Myspace or Facebook when someone applies for a job? I use two email addresses. One I put on my resume and one for my login on Myspace, and I don't have a picture of myself.

I'm sure a lot of employers do it nowadays. But if you just use common sense and don't have questionable content on those sites, you'll be fine.

Let me tell you as someone who hired
several hundred folks over my 18 year
career at Microsoft, I looked at every persons personal website if they gave one.
Even a personal email address sometimes gives clues.

One person I was about to hire, when I checked
his website, I rescinded the hire offer, because what he showed on his website showed poor judgement.

So the bottom line is yes, some might look, some not.

I did, I'm sure others do as well.

Some employers might, it probably just depends on the employers and what they like to do.
