The most simple answer is yes. Water can go through infinite freezing and thawing cycles. The only question is temperature and time. Whether or not global warming can be reversed is another completely different question. There are many schools of thought on this subject. One such is that humans did not cause global warming, and that it is simply a small part of the bigger picture/cycle. Another such is that green house gases such as carbon dioxide are causing global warming and that we must immediately begin to reverse this or else... At this point in time however, the answer is up for grabs.

Mankind is incapable of reversing the damage from human in-habitation, but Mother Nature can 'reset' her clock when it's necessary to maintain her balance.

If the icecaps melt... the water rises.... causing rain, wind storms and all kinds of problems for us humans!
Mother Nature isn't too awfully worried though. She's gone through far worse, and should the need arise to put her clock back in a better working order... she will just lean or adjust her axis and put everything in a deep freeze.

This will eradicate us human parasites but will save her from destruction.
Like when the dinosaurs went extinct from the meteor rock that hit and threw tons of debris in the air. She slept in a deep freeze, and survived.

My point is we can't kill her but she CAN kill us.
Know what I mean?

yes they can, it has happened during the ice ages.but in that era their was low if any pollution ,the ozone was much more dense. today's pollution and weaker ozone would not permit this. If we are going to slow down the global warming we must start off with America, the worlds worst polluter . why would other country's give an all out effort if we don't do anything If we had a global counsel to moniter all country's we might be able to slowly reverse global warming.

When they melt, they are then gone! Therefore there is nothing there to refreeze!

Of course, new ones will eventually appear, because the climate continues to reverse itself and change, even though it may take thousands or millions of years.

Global warming is irreversible. If we have a nuclear winter that lasts several years there may be hope - and another ice age. The best we can do is try to cope with the effects of whatever climate changes we have.

The earth has gone through multiple ice ages and warming periods, so yes they may refreeze. I do believe human's can't do anything to reverse global warming because we are not the cause of global warming.

Of course. It has happened before and it will happen again.
During the medieval warm period, it was warmer than it is now, and the great cathedrals were built. Later, the glaciers encroached on farmlands and it was very distressing. Now it is warming up again.
