Have you ever had a dream of being naked in public?

I was going to say no, or if I did, I couldn't remember it. That just didn't seem like a good enough reason to post, though, so I skipped over this question. But reading the question must have inadvertently caused the idea to enter my subconscious, because I ended up having a dream about being naked. Thanks for the dream inspiration. :P

In my dream, I was naked in public, and trying to cover up at least the necessary parts, while trying to *pretend* to be unphased about it since I knew there was nothing I could do about it and hoping that no one would notice.

I think a lot of what it means has to do with how you feel when you're naked in the dream.

In my case, I know that I want to hide the "necessary" parts of myself from public view; for example, embarrasing faults or sexual topics are "necessary" parts to hide from public view. I tried to pretend that I didn't care what other people thought of me, even though I really did care.

So just ask yourself how you were feeling when you were naked in the dream, and that will tell you how you feel about "exposing" yourself to others.

Never dreamed I was naked in public but have had nightmares about my teeth falling out. Every few months I have those dreams, my teeth just fall out or I'm eating something like a sandwich and after I take a bite some of my teeth are embedded in the bread. Then I start crying when I realize what's happening! I've read and been told that it means that I have a fear of getting old.

Usually partially naked, I don't think I've had a dream where I'm totally naked. It'll be like I'm doing something like opening a door in a public setting, and all of a sudden I don't have a shirt on (or bra) but I'll be wearing jeans. Or I'll be wearing a shirt, but no pants (or panties) The other person in my dream hardly even notices and even when brought to their attention, are not even phased by it.

Dreaming of nakedness or less than dressed, is your subconcious being worried that you'll be 'exposed' in public or to outsiders of your true nature or truth. My senario basically means I slightly fear to be exposed, but reaction is that whatever it is I am fearing, it's rather normal or mundane or even typical for others.

I'm not sure but it probably, some kind of insecurity complex, being naked in a public place (unless you are a nudist) would no doubt make you feel very vulnerable.

Yes, but it apparently can mean alot of things. Something about being exposed, or someone in your life exposing you to something your not comfortable with - Or a private experience being brought out into the open that you didn't want people to know about.

Also depends on who was in the dream etc...

yeah man
when i was going through a stressful time a few years back i'd dream of finding myself naked in public places. i think it meant that i wasn't feeling in control. a feeling of helplessness and wanting to take charge of my situation.

other then that, my nakey dreams usually have a man in them if you know what i mean.

Naked? No, but running on the underwear yes. I believe those dreams are related to preoccupations.
