You are a selfish, uncaring BASTARD...........why don't you Jack off 10 times in a cup and have them frozen..............and then get a vasectamy?......It is a simple procedure..................If you want to put your wife through two surgeries..............you are an inhuman cad..................I feel sorry for her

Tubal ligation is considered permanent sterilization and should only be done in the event that you are completely sure that you do not want any more children. The biggest possible fertility complication would be that a reversal was unsuccessful. And of course the surgery itself is somewhat major so there are all the possible complications that come along with that. If you would like a method of birth control that will be effective for a few years I suggest an intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) like Mirena

having your tubes tied is not like a trip to the doctor's office - it's surgery. if you are planning to have kids later, you should try other kinds of birth control until you're ready. there's no need for her to go through surgery just to undo it later (and i don't think that's something a doctor would do anyway, knowing that you want to have kids later).

what birth control methods have you tried? the pill, the patch, the shot, iuds, diaphrams, condoms...explore your options before you resort to surgery.
