Global Warming / Climate Change in the next 20-50 years...
The most major one could be the Change of Polarity on Earth.
North and South pole switched places in the magnetic fields.
The consequences of it is not known for sure yet but it is likely that most of our communication tools might be rendered useless.
I seldom talk about this issue of the polarity change because of the magnitude of the problem and it is not clear when it will happen. It is said that Earth is already overdue for the polarity change....
anyway, one problem at a time :)
Good Question.

Unfortunately, I'd have to say that most of the changes I can think of are negative (global warming, war, apocolypse)...in that order. Humans have nearly destroyed the earth & it seems the good people fighting are trying hard, but losing the fight. Man, I'm Debbie Downer on this post...but I feel there are signs that this process has already started.

A nuke being detonated in a major US city. Our borders are a sieve, tons of stuff comes across them daily. It's the simplest avenue for getting one in. It alsohas a better chance tp hit the West Coast this time.
Oh well, what ya gonna do?

I don't know if some will accept this answer in this category, but I firmly believe we will soon see the Rapture of the Church withing the next several years. How many? No Idea. But I'm 61 and firmly believe that I will see this extraordinary event in my lifetime.

the eruption of Yellowstone national park. the whole park is still an active super volcano that goes off every 300,000 years. we are overdue by about 2,000. it would create massive climate change and possibly a nuclear winter. which means millions around the world would starve to death and war would probably break out over territories.

when more people make underground homes. i seen it on this one show where this guy did it. and his house is now worth about 3 million dollars. living underground is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. weird i know but year round their temprature difference is only 15 degrees year round. no lights are used only skylights. and actually gets more light then regular windows in houses. so that means using less energy. A LOT LESS.
theres plenty more but im sure you can google underground homes and see it somehow.
the guy has a swing in his house to lol.
i thought it was neat and thought id share with the community that takes part in reading.

The US as you know it will not survive beyond 2012. With thousands of unknown, undocumented, illegals literally pouring into the U.S. on a daily basis, the situation amounts to a blaringly obvious opportunity begging for terrorist to exploit it.
All it takes is one person to pass through with a “dirty nuke,” or other improvised weapon of mass destruction (IWMD).
It is not a matter of "if" its a matter of "When."
