Yes, in large part.

Why? Because they were tired of war, so they (the British) just packed up and went home. And everyone was feeling sorry for the poor Jews after the holocaust. Additionally, there were hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees who needed someplace to go after WW2. For a while, the British tried hard to keep them OUT of Palestine, but eventually they gave up.

Long live Palestine! And, long live Israel as well.

And then there's that Jewish myth that there never was a "Palestine". Who the hell do they have locked up in the West Bank then? Palestinians by chance? Biggest lie of the 20th century!

Really ironic. The Jews went from being prisoners, to 50 years of being prison guards.

The Palestinians have been treated like dirt by the Israeli's the same way that they were treated by the Nazis during the Second World War. This was the start of the problem with the Middle East as Israel was suppose to help the Palestinians set up their own government but have continued to oppress them.

Not so nice some of the Jewish people who prove to be oppressors and to be no better than their Nazis oppressors during the Second World War. And then some have the audacity to call themselves Christians.

Paul Wolfowitz is a sad and pathetic case who thinks that he is a Christian after helping to orchestrate the lies about Saddam Hussein and weapons of mass destruction. Upon his death he will meet with Adolf Hitler who will keep him company in the Hubs Of He'll for eternity.

yes there was a palestinian nation and we palestians do exist. my whole family is made up of refugees. they were not given they option of styaing and remaining free. they were forced to pack up and get out! some of my famliy is still stuck in israel!
palestinians were and are real people with lives. it makes no sense to me why the brits decided that guilt about the jews and the holocaust was enough reason to disrupt a whole nation. and i can't believe that after being prosecuted for so long, i would think that the jews would learn a freakin' lesson and not do that to someone else!!

Israel and Palestine must both exist as countries. The territory taken by Israel should be returned to the Palestinians so that the conflict thereat will end.

Yes i do. It would be like American Indians coming to the government and saying we want our land back. Same with Israel taking back the land they once had.

Yes and No. Palestine was given the option of still having land and a country. They were not satisified with what was being offered them. I would say rightfully so as it was all theirs to begin with. Of course by refusing to accept what they were given and live peacefully next to the Israelis they have subjected themselves to generations living in settlement camps like refugees.
