I'm broke and I was thinking of giving my mom a homemade mothers day gift. I'm in my 20's though and I don't know if i'm too old to still do that. Any ideas of what i could do also.

A homemade gift is by far the best gift ever.

I have two boys, and I never want them to worry about giving me something.

Give your gift from the heart, homemade or otherwise.... Your Mom loves you more than you'll ever know.

Homemade gifts are wonderful. Martha Stewart has built an empire partly on teaching how to make things at home. As you get older, use your imagination a little more. Go to marthastewart.com or pick up her magazine for ideas.

Look at it this way. ANYBODY can buy a gift, without any thought going into it. It's a special gift from the heart when hand made. I've always said that a letter to mom telling her how special she is, and how wonderful she is will beat ANY store bought gift.

I love homemade gifts. I get them (well kinda) from my mother in law every year and I look forward to them.
I still give things I made, baking mostly, and it always has gone over well.
It's more personal.
