Well--judge for yourself:

>>Bush's own intel people say the war is creating terrorists
>By not focusing on Afghanistan, we've allowed al-Qaida and the Taliban to regroup, recover territory.
>Tens--maybe hundreds--of millions of Muslims who supported us following 9/11 now hate our guts.
>Our military is ground down to the point of total exaustion
>our borders (and ports--people keep forgetting that) are STILL open

and its a goood thing there haven't been any serious terrorists in the US since 9/11 since our so-called "Department of Homeland Security" spends it s time snooping into our library borrowing and chasing some idiots playing paintball.

Yes.

We have been very ineffective in bringing the fight to Al Qaeda. We did a good job at invading Afghanistan, but failed when we redeployed our troops to a non-Al Qaeda country in Iraq. Al Qaeda celebrated our invasion of Iraq. Not only are they able to fight the Americans on there turf and terms, they've also got us bogged down in an unending and expensive war. OBL himself said he wanted to bankrupt the west. The US spending billions in Iraq, a country where he had no presence, is sure to make him smile.

Al Qaeda is, at best, tolerated in Iraq. They are a small sect of the minority Sunni sect of Islam, in Shiite dominated Iraq. Many academics theorize that a U.S. withdrawal would put an end to the toleration of Al Qaeda in Iraq.

Further, they have been able to gain a foothold, unchecked, in western Pakistan. By not having a large amount of US or NATO troops in the region, the Taliban has gained serious strength, and the major players of Al Qaeda are able to plot away.

Last, war is not pretty. By bringing "democracy" to Iraq, we have caused serious strife to their residents. Some would argue that this front on the war on terror has created more terrorists than it has killed.

To be fair, the rise of Islamic fundamentalism has been a growing threat for over 20 years.
Unfortunately, these greedy scumbags really accelerated the process, and are quite effectively destroying the credibility of the greatest country on the planet.
They have clearly threatened our future security.

You know what threatens our future, people not waking up and understanding what is really happening here. You better all start praying we do win this war. The terrorists are coming if we the Americans do not have the good sense to understand we have to stand up and be counted.
Some day your going to know what Bush has tried to do for this country, when we have someone in office that just stands and turns the other cheek. Watch where it gets us, our country will be history.

I didnt know Bush & Cheney were feuding.
If you are referring to the war against Radical Islam, well they are the ones who declared war against US and have been waging that war for decades, it took 9-11 for us to finally commit ourselves, and by the way, the US Congress approved of these actions.

No. Last I looked North Korea and Libya were cooperating. Radical Islam wants your head, no negotiating. Iran and Syria support the destruction of the US no matter what. This war was raging long before Bush and you didn't even know it.
