I'd prefer solo, but what the heck--free or not. I've always thought hang gliding would be awesome, much better than flying a noisy little Cessna! (Although I did enjoy that!) Maybe some day I'll do it before I get too old! Race car driving & mountain climbing has always intrigued me, too.
