Can't disagree with Vick, however, it has to be Peyton Manning. How long do you have to be surrounded by the best talent in the league before you win the big one?
As far as underrated, I have to go with Tom Brady. He is a superstar because he has won three Superbowl rings. He won the rings because he is a super star. No one is more cool or decisive on the field. The Pats are never out of a game because Tom Brady is a scholar of the sport and a talent not seen since Joe Montana.

Overrated: Mike Vick and Vince Young. Practically the same QBs who're hyped for all the same reasons. The only difference is that VY seems to be a better human being and might yet learn how to be an effective QB. But ROY? What a sham!
Overrated: Big Jen. Seriously, he runs his mouth, and hands the ball off to his runningback, and maybe throws some slants from time to time, yet somehow he's god-like. I could hand the ball off to Jerome Bettis and Willie Parker and win a Super Bowl ring on that Steelers team.
Underrated: JP Losman. Outplayed the rest of his '04 colleagues(except Rivers...but...the Chargers were and probably still are a better team) Yet I still see stray bashings and dismissals. This kid can play and will tear it up starting this September behind a revamped oline and with a guy who can catch and block as well as run better than McGahee behind him.
Underrated: Jon Kitna. Despite everything, he played really well for the Lions. Granted, its a passing offense, but...still...it's the freaking Detroit Lions.

Do you mean Michael Vick or his younger brother Marcus?
If Michael, we're in complete agreement as far as overrated is concerned. The mere fact that there are people in this world who think of Michael Vick as a quarterback makes him an overrated quarterback. He's a running back who just happens to get the ball every snap (except for field goals, punts, or when he's injured).
As for underrated, David Garrard comes to mind. He's clearly more mobile and less injury-prone than incubent Byron Leftwich, and yet Jack Del Rio keeps inserting Leftwich into the starting lineup until Leftwich's annual injury, at which point Garrard steps in with about as much consistency as Rex Grossman. If Garrard were the starter at the start of a season, he'd probably be more consistent throughout the season, and Jacksonville would reap the benefits.
If Garrard isn't working for you, the only other underrated quarterback I can think of is Alex Smith in San Francisco. Defenses focused on stopping Frank Gore because of Smith's inexperience. Not only is Smith more experienced than he was last season (an obvious statement, but it needs to be made in a point like this), but the 49ers added Ashely Lelie to their receiving corps. While Lelie was a malcontent in Denver and couldn't show off his talent in Atlanta (is it coincidence his "quarterback" there was Michael Vick?), a fresh start with a developing quarterback who can actually throw the ball should revitalize Lelie's career, and a revitalized Lelie will help make Smith and the 49ers' offense that much better.

Romo. Vick isnt overrated becuase nobody really likes him or thinks he is that good anymore. Tony Romo didnt even have that good of a season, but people are putting him in the list of the top QB's in the league. The most underrated is Rex Grossman. Say what you want about the 0.0 passer rating games, but he had some fantastic games, and most of the QB's in the NFL wouldnt be that good if they had to throw to the Bears receiving corp.

Overrated: Brett Favre. His great playing days are behind him, but if you listen to the media, you wouldn't know it.
Overrated: Eli Manning. In spite of all the offensive weapons at his disposal, 17 quarterbacks had higher QB ratings.
Overrated: Michael Vick. He's my favorite player, so I HATE to say this. I haven't written Mike off yet: he has the ability to be a great quarterback. But, I'm not sure he has the pocket patience he needs to become an elite passer.
Underrated: Donovan McNabb. He's consistently near the top in quarterback rating, but people constantly say he sucks. Injuries don't make him a bad quarterback (just an unreliable one).
Underrated: Drew Brees. He's consistently near the top in quarterback rating, but people overlook him.

Mike Vick is way overrated. what has he won? nothing. Brady is far from overrated he is in is late 20s and has 3 rings 3 more than most qbs dream of. Rex Grossman is just another overhyped qb from a steve spurrier system and needs a geat year to keep his job. the bears didnt make the SB because of rex but in spite of him. the most underrated qb is david carr. he was sacked more times than any other qb in his first 5 years and was on a bad team.

Overrated: Mike Vick, 4 obvious reasons. Also, Tom Brady. A great QB, but never comes back when his team is down, only when the game is tied. Last year, AFC championship, the Pats were down and he couldn't do anything except throw a pick.
Underrated: Marc Bulger. Great QB, and in the top 5 QB's but never is mentioned as a great QB.

Overrated- Tony Romo. He doesnt even play a whole season and the media thinks he is great. Are you kidding me? Then he goes to the Pro Bowl. He will be atleast average this year.
Underrated- Marc Bulger.
Overhyped- Eli Manning. Everyone expected great things from him just because he was Archie's son and Peyton's brother.

Most overrated - Tony Romo. Cowboys will never win a super bowl with him.
Most underrated - Marc Bulger. He can run an offense, but the Rams don't play defense, so he will never get the respect he deserves.
