Recliner. Or you could grow a back bone and tell her that it's your bed too and you are sleeping in it. If she don't like it then she can either ride the couch or the recliner for the evening.

I'd go for the couch as I can't sleep even in a semi upright position. But I think guys tend to prefer the recliner. Let me know what you've decided.

My dad sleeps on his recliner for some reason but I think the couch will be more comfortable.

i have a couch with 2 recliners in it. make sure the recliner has a 5+ yr warranty on it for the springs, etc. they are VERY heavy to lift, so be careful.

does the recliner have a massager built into it,if it does i would take the recliner over the couch. you could always make up with your wife so you can sleep in your bed
