Going to see a movie once it first comes out, or waiting until it comes out on DVD to buy/rent it?

Movies if I really want to see it ( which for the most part I don't) but I'll usually wait to rent it.

I prefer to see a movie in the theater when it first comes out, but I don't always get a chance to...so I usually wait 'til it comes to DVD and then rent/buy it.

Waiting for it to come on dvd because there would be too many people at the movies

I'm a netflix user. I usually prefer waiting until it comes out on DVD to rent it so I can see the ratings and hear about it from friends. If I hear its supposed to be VERY good, I'll go to theaters to see it.

It depends on the movie. Some movies are just meant to be seen on a large screen. Like Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Other movies, it really doesn't matter that much, so I'll just wait.

Wait for a DVD and buy it. I can't stand the screaming kids, loud mouthed adults, and $15 popcorn at the movie theater.

We usually wait until it's out on DVD and rent it. I can't drag my bf to the movies.

I go to the cinema whenever there is a real good film that I want to see. I have a library of DVDs at home and watch them on Home Cinema a lot more often.
