a lavander shimmer eyeliner around the whole entire eye - use a thick pencil if possible - then ( this is optional) use a black liner to go from the middle of your eye straight out - hold eye taught at corner when appling it will give that catty look - then layer mascara on with a teddy brush -
if your feeling daring add a little sparkle of silver or white shimmer shadow or liner to the inner corner of the eye to make eyes pop -
do not do dramatic make up all over - it will overpower your features -
lips - they say its a no no but i still like a darker liner on lips and filled in with a lighter color - my fav are a brown liner with gold bronze shimmer lipstick -
or a dark berry liner with a sheer berry gloss - ( nice for summer evenings)

1] practice at home
2] have makeup remover or baby oil as backup, and go to bed with a clean face
3] the scene look translates into eyes/lips.
EYES - daytime is dk brown charcoal gray, or black mascara/liner. Eyeshadow is subtle and enhances the color of your eyes.
Night - use colored or black mascara, liner; deep or bright or metallic shadows; add shimmer to cheekbones or entire face.
LIPS - daytime is pink, peach, rose, or clear lip gloss.
Night - use a deep red or berry matte lip color. Add a little shimmer in the cleft above your lip, and below middle of lower lip.
After you apply, check how you look in the kitchen or outside -you want to look great, but not like a hooker!

You should startoff with a shimmery light color on your eye lids and let the loose shimmer fall out under your eye lids, maybe a sassy light pink blush and a spunky clear gloss on the lips. Also some really good make-up brands Mac is ecxpensive but good make-up and In the mall at choles has really good eye shadows, blushes, and glosses!

when i put eyeliner on, i end up putting way to much on and never knew how to take it off without smearing it or leaving some behind, but now i dip a q-tip in eye makeup remover and it works great!! i can get a straight line without leaving any behind.

if you want a smokey eye, after you apply eyeliner, get a "smudging brush" (thats what they are really called) or even a q-tip and smudge to acheive a smokey eye
hope this helps!
