Radio edit is when they bleep out the word(s) or there is a silent "void" where the explicit lyrics were. Clean edit is when the lyrics are recorded w/o any explicit lyrics at all.

Radio Edit is usually made to send to the radio stations to get word out about a new album. Sometimes it will be edited with one or two different words rather than just bleeps. Clean Edit is the one made with whole different verses.

a lot of times the radio edit is shorter. sometimes it will have a little different beat or something. it's just the promo version of the song. clean version is the album version of a song w/out swear words.

i hope that helps. its kinda confusing!
