Greg Palast: I know because I have Karl Rove's emails. No kidding. He and his team aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer. They sent copies of their plans to GeorgeWBush.ORG instead of GeorgeWBush.COM addresses -- and, heh heh, they ended up in my in-box. Who says this job ain't fun?

Dollars & Sense: Bush fired eight prosecutors. You were behind the scenes on that story long before it broke in the US. What are they still withholding from us?

Palast: Look, it's all about VOTES. You'll see that the prosecutor that Karl Rove insisted in putting in place is a slithery character named Tim Griffin. He's the guy I busted as the spider-mind behind the "caging lists" which purged thousands of Black voters. The prosecutors fired, as you'll see in Armed Madhouse, David Iglesias in New Mexico, who refused to bring phony cases of fraud against legitimate voters. It's a matter of economics: the Republican party is systematically knocking out lower-income voters

Do I have any doubts that Karl Rove uses blackmail to get people to do his bidding, no. I'm positive that most everyone that Bush put in his administration had a skeleton in their closet that Karl Rove dug up and Bush could use in order to have them rubber stamp all his decisions, no matter how it hurt the United States. Now, the Democrats are the majority, and I'm sure Karl Rove is looking for dirt on all of them, and Bush is waiting to use whatever he digs up to get them to dance to his tune as well. I'm just hoping that the Democrats realize that, I and hopefully everyone eles would rather the truth come out about any skeletons they have, and they continue to do the job we elected them to do. I can forgive anyone for being human, and humans are not perfect, but I can't forgive anyone for sacrificing a Nation to save face, or their reputation. If Rove digs up dirt on the Dems in office, I would have more respect if they approached the media, and told the public that they have been threatened with blackmail by whom ever is doing it, and that the threatened party is not giving in to the blackmail to save themselves at the expense of handing the security and well being of the United States in exchange for protecting themselves from the truth coming out. Let us decide at that point, and like I said this person would have my respect.

In my community we held a drive to get voters to sign up for the permanent list for absentee voting. This is a better paper trail than regular voting. You can make sure you get a ballot and no poll worker gets to look at your race or address before you get to vote. If you are a caregiver you can also get on this list. Any situation that keeps you at home on voting day is a good reason to get on this list. Before the 2008 elections each of us should help at least one other person get their voting rights established. Best of luck to you!!

Yeah, I've heard Greg Palast's claims but I gotta wonder, if he can prove all he says, why isn't anything being done about it?

My guess is that his proof isn't as solid as he claims.

No proof, this evidence does not convince me. Anyone could have made up E-mails and put Rove's name on it.
