I think it is important as men to make sure their women do not gain too much weight. Almost all women want to be thin, and men need to protect them from their own desires of eating candy chocolates. I know quite a few women who are unhappy with their weight and I think if more men would enforce good eating habits on their women, they wouldn't be overweight or depressed nearly as much. I use Little Debbie snacks as an example here. Some of the cakes come in twin packs and in reality that is more of a man's serving size than a woman's. Therefore it is essential for good men to point that out to their girl. I mean I might my girl eat both cakes if it was her birthday, special occasion, or if she had been really good, but in general women need to be protected from eating too much desserts. Ladies, if your husband or boyfriend doesn't do this, would you want him to?

Honestly, I think it's better when I remind myself that I don't need to much dessert. If a boyfriend or man does it, it makes me feel bad and that causes a woman to eat more. I think a woman should care about herself enough to want to eat healthy, and chocolate is good for a woman. It doesn't make you gain weight if you watch what else you eat that day. Chocolate releases serotonin into the brain and makes anyone feel better so I think chocolate snacks are okay.

Truth? Yes.

I was with a man who had great concern for my weight from a HEALTH angle, not vanity, and I ASKED him to do the works. Punish me if I cheated and help me get motivated more to exercise etc.

He was a very controlling but concerned and dominant male whom I loved with all my heart and that was just fine. But it could be a problem at times I would imagine like when I really really really wanted chocolate!

To be honest, in this way he broke me completely of my chocolate addiction! I "need " it sometimes, but in very small amounts and always the best. No more struggles in the candy aisles.

Im perfectly capable of controlling my own weight as are most women. If some women happen to be or choose to be overweight it might be depression. Too much control from another person might add to that. We really are a force all in ourselves. Women rock!!!!!! and when were happy everyone is happy.

You would drive me crazy. Watch your own weight before you get a little pot. If you took my food away for the reason you gave here you'd be out the door. I don't need a babysitter!

That's funny...a few years ago, my b/f used to force me to eat ice cream, chocolate, anything he could get his hands on. He was just sure that I was too thin. lol
Anyways, either way, it's bad. It makes a person too paranoid.

My boyfriend and I usually share the twin packs... it makes a great little snack to have together.

I can't eat that stuff anyway because of my severe food allergies-- to wheat in particular.
And no, I wouldn't want him to treat me that way. I'm not 12 years old.

I'm not fat so I can eat both if I want to. And if I get fat I will worry about it myself, I don't need someone else telling me what to eat.

Get a life and a brain and you might find a woman other than your computer. You don't even turn that on. :)
