Nothing has been done about 9/11.
If you recall, there were Saudis and Egyptians implicated, yet there's been not a peep about that.
For some reason, Afghanistan was invaded, and nothing has been resolved there.
What was your question again?

Ok, Bush had very high approval ratings after 9/11, he had the whole country behind him. everyone supported going after al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan and bring bin Laden to justice, but then Bush and Cheney kept talking about Iraq. al Qaeda was not there, Iraq had been marginalized, but instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan he started a second war, and we still don't have bin Laden. The White House won't even mention him. (much like how they will never say WMD ever again)
yeah, Saddam did some pretty sh*tty things in the 80's. Well, Bush Sr. knew that invading Iraq was a bad idea as there was no good way to leave. (said on a national TV interview when asked why he didn't oust Saddam from power in Desert Storm) Well, Jr. didn't learn from daddy's example, and here we are today. The fact is, Bush squandered all his support both at home and abroad.
"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public". -Theordore Roosevelt

Yeah I completely agree. The same people complaining about Bush are the ones who voted him in! This country was already too lenient with terrorists. If we wouldn't have gone to war, what message would that have sent? I'll tell what kind of message: that this country can just sit back and take whatever anyone throws at us. Too many people in this country can't pick a side, so they just go with the majority. The majority of people dislike Bush and are against the war. Did you know that 35% of Democrats now believe 9/11 was a conspiracy?! It is ridiculous behavior like this that isn't good for this country. Needless to say, our next president will be a Democrat and whoever that is will definitely pull out our troops so fast they get dizzy. You know what, that is exactly what the terrorists want us to do.

Your absolutely right, but how soon they forget. I remember quite well Bush saying at the very beginning, "this is going to be a long and difficult fight." Did all these morons think it was going to be like a single season of "Survivor?" Apparently so, how sad for America. Course what can a person expect of a lot of people that now think 9/11 was a conspiracy. If they fall for that, they'll fall for anything.

It's all ideological. There's an epidemic on the left called Bush Derangement Syndrome. It's hysterical, and you can see the glazed over look in people's eyes when they start raving about George Bush. I just smile and think to myself, "It's so obvious that you really have no clue what you're saying." This is how it comes across. Go on though, let them make a.s.s.e.s of themselves.
I'm not saying things couldn't have been done different, and better. But it's tough to really fight terrorism with the politically correct Democrat cowards dogging your every step. And then they're backed up by the media, ACLU, and various other radical loonies who are somehow able to sway public opinion. Man, there are some really stupid people in this country to believe anything from the mass media. No one wants to think, think, think.
Why? I just don't get it.

I agree with the person who posted this 100%! The same people complaining about this "war" are the same ones who complained about the phones being taped. Lame, get over it. Most of them never served time in the military meaning they did not earn their freedom so why they are complaining about their personal rights/freedom being abused I don't understand. I bet if they served time in Iraq and saw the accomplishments first hand they'd understand it's more than what the media feeds them.

The most admired accomplishment of Bush was his anti-terrorism stance that had prevented the Al Qaida to stage another 9/11 in the US heartland.

Lets ask the "Terrorist in Chief" Osama Bin Laden...Oh we cant because Bush chose to go after his daddy's arch-nemesis Hussein, who posed no threat to the US and who had nothing to do with 9/11. Bin Laden is still free thanks to Bush.

Bullshit! In the 70's & 80's there were terrorists running around all over the place (76 olympics). We got through that without giving up our rights. The war in Iraq is like beating up some asshole because he lives in the same neighborhood that your sisters rapist lives in....
