i wand a betta who is beutiful, smart, long stamina, straight attacks, good eye sight, smart, tough scales, very competitive, and a betta who likes to show off, healthy, strong and will still be a show off, when you change the water for it.

Straight attacks? Tough scales? COMPETETIVE?!?!

Are you trying to start a betta fight club?!

I would strongly reconsider. Not only is it very cruel and unethical, but also very illegal.

When you go to the store, the bettas are usually kept in their own little plastic bowls. When they are close together, look for the bettas that flare their gills at other bettas, this is a sign of stamina, health, and activeness.

Good luck!

looks like your list of qualities are rather demanding.
actually most male thai betas are healthy. You will have to keep it that way by good feeding and excellent tank conditions. But for choosing one, picka beta which has deep and full coloration. It should flare ur if you make it see another male beta in close range like just outside its living quarters. Crowntails are more impressive and no there is no other difference between crowntail and veil tail other than the fins. If you feed your beta properly , it should be able to live up to your expectations. By the way, when you change the water, they will colour but they will get it back in 15 to 20 mins.

just so you know, the most splendid beta display is when ot sees intself in the mirror, so place one inside or just outside your tank.
Gud luck with your beta!

If you just google fighting plakats you can find a few online stores that sell bettas bred for battle. They are all in Thailand though. Still it is illegal to actually fight them.

They are beuatiful fish and make a great addition to any betta lovers collection.

Choose one with long, flowing fins, scales aren't sticking out, swims actively, and has all the things that you just said.
