She's usually finished within a few hours, maybe 12 at most. If something stopped the deliveries of more babies, she should finish having them within a few days.

Depends. From first contractions to newborn baby could be anywhere from a few hours to over a week. My cousin had her baby within six hours. My best friend was in labor for days on end having contractions every 20 minutes & finally had to be induced because she wasn't dilating at all.

our guppies birthed and did just fine we wernt home all day. Dont stick your hand in the tank! use a fine net that's what they're made for.also put live plants in the baby tank and sprinkle fish food in small pieces along the top so they will learn to eat that way.

NEVER,NEVER,NEVER,move a female live-bearer or in any other way stress her within two weeks of giving birth. She will do just what your fish is doing, the stress will stop the birthing process and if it doesn't restart spontaneously she will probably die a slow miserable death. There is nothing you can do but wait and hope.

Do you have her in a breeder? If you don't then you should. To answer your question, it depends on how many fry she has. It can take anywhere from 2 hours to 24 hours.

can't remember Tabitha. Keep her separated from other fish and you might have to watch mama from babies too. Good luck. Name one after me.
