It is asking for the two values of x, where g(x) = 3x^2-10 =0. This means x^2=10/3, which means x= sqrt(10/3) or x= -sqrt(10/3). Since A

I don't know if this helps but :
F=-6 and G=7

Im not sure if I am understanding correctly. Does f = a and G = B in the equation?
Does F/G represent a line? where A and B are two different points which could define the line?
If so, x must be -1 for this to work at all so I might be missing something here
-6(-1) = -1 + 7(1) 7(-1) = 3 - 10
6 = 6 -7 = -7

Okay this question is asking what will make this function undefined. In order to make a function undefined you must divide the function by zero. In essence but function f over function g to get : (X^3 + 7x^2)/(3x^2 - 10). So now you must find the two points in which 3x^2 -10 equals zero. One should be less then the other. So find the two points. (A will be the lesser of the two points). So use basic algebra to find that 3x^2 -10 = 0 (find x). the answer will be A= -square root(10/3) and square root of (10/3) hope that helps!!

F/G becomes undefined when G becomes zero. Set G = 0 and solve for the two X values.

OK, f(x)/g(x) is undefined--that is, it has no answer--when
g(x) = 0 since you can't divide by zero. In order to get g(x) =0, 0 = 3x^2-10; 3x^2 = 10; x^2 = 10/3; and x= +/-sqrt(10/3)

f/g is undefined when g is equal to zero. Set g equal to zero and solve for x.
