What did you do today?

I am very curious to know what your day consisted of.

Well, here is the story! I woke up late at the side of the freeway, I-84 in Eastern Oregon where I had stopped for the night. I got online and looked at Yahoo answers for a while then had breakfast. I am a truck driver and I am fully self contained. I have a small refrigerator, microwave, crock pot, toaster and a George Foreman grill. I fixed myself some toast and a dish of Rice, Chicken, Spinach, Olives, Feta Cheese and Orange Bell Pepper with Pine Nuts and Mild Salsa. I drove eastward to the intersection of I-84 And I-82 and turned north on I-82 into Washington State, across the Columbia River. You can see McNary Dam from the bridge and the turbines were all running. I had never seen all of them running before! It was quite an impressive sight to see all that water gushing out of the dam! Along the way I was texting back and forth with my girlfriend who lives in Cedar City Utah. She is in love with me and I am in love with her! We just got to this point earlier this week, she told me for the first time on Wednesday that she loves me! I sent her flowers and a bonsai plant today and the florist delivered it to her today. As soon as she got it, she texted me that it was really heavenly and that I am spoiling her! That kinda made me float! I sent them to her for Mothers Day! She is a really beautiful woman with three kids and 6 grandkids, I think. The flowers were a dozen hot pink roses. I have never sent a dozen roses to anyone before! I am glad she liked them! I turned off of I-82 at Kennewick, WA and turned east on I-182 to US 395 where I turned north to head up to hit I-90. I got to I-90 and headed east through Spokane's heavy rush hour traffic and went into Idaho to Post Falls to the Flying J truck stop where I spent $650.00 on fuel. As I was heading out of the parking lot after fueling, my check engine light came on and I saw that the engine was VERY hot! I parked the truck to see if I could figure out what was wrong. I couldn't. I called the engine shop in Spokane and told them that as soon as my engine cools off enough for me to drive there, I am coming in. So, I turned on my computer and went to Yahoo Answers and saw your question asking me what I did today. So I sat down and typed in this reply. THAT is what I did today so far!

I woke up at 8 and made breakfast.
I went to school at 9 and sat through a painting class and a drawing class.
At 1 I left school and hung out with my friends for a while.
at 2 I went to tao and had lunch by myself.
I came home at 2:45 and read the golden compass for a while.
At 5 I watched lost.
At 7 elena came over and we made virgin margaritas.
Then we watched lost some more.
now Im on yahoo answers and Im about to go out.

After breakfast, worked on my business for a while, then drove to my business inventory (40 mi.), worked there for a while, walked over to the diner and had lunch with the waitresses and hostess, shipped several parcels at the post office, drove several miles to pick up some items for my business, filled the car with diesel fuel, visited a friend and gave her $160. to help with moving expenses, went back to my inventory and loaded the car for a business trip tomorrow, drove home, worked on the business a bit more and in the yard for a while, went out to eat, came home and got on the computer, where I am now, at 9:06 p.m. EST.

I went to work where I attended meetings and worked on a document. Went to lunch with my best guy friend. Then worked from home on the document.

I've done two loads of laundry, spent some time on Y!A, brushed all three dogs, and chatted with my daughter.

I thought I'd watch a little television, shower and get to bed.

Finished son's Spanish project at 12:30 am. Up at 4:30 to get hubby off to work. Up again at 6:30 to get son off to school...second son off at 8:00 went to work from 9-2.
Food shopping then pizza for dinner...Oh BTW drove boys to & from karate. Now I am at YA! 9:08 pm ;-)

I worked half a day and had half a day of vacation. I took my daughter to school and then about an hour later we went to watch her Spring Program. It was good.

Rested to recover from asthma from mowing the lawn yesterday, then had dinner and soaked the infected foot of one of our dogs that is slowly dying from renal failure.

It's pretty boring...Worked, came home and drank a Mike's Hard Berry, and am now doing this and watching TV.
