The people of New Orleans, Louisiana,and Mississippi were all told to leave. as the storm drew closer, the president focused his efforts on telling the mayor and Governor of New Orleans that they needed to evacuate, but the mayor and Governor flat out REFUSED. what happened after that.....they blamed bush, and bush took all the blame even though there are recorded phone calls that prove that bush told both of them to evacuate....they had the means to get those ppl out....the fault of all those death lie directly in the hands of the democratic liberal Mayor and Governor. and those are the facts.

It's not, exactly. You have to care about the right issues, in the right ways.

An over-used example is capital punishment vs abortion: A liberal should care about the life of a convicted murderer, but shouldn't care about the life of an unborn child.
