When I get out of college I want to move to Canada to the Vancouver, BC area. I wanted to know if anyone has information on how to go about changing citizenship. Also I wanted to know if anyone had information regarding the real estate market of the area, mainly apartments for two.

Okay, first off, you don't just "change citizenship" ... there is a lot more to it than that, which of course is what I assume you are asking about ... the process.
You must apply for immigration, and there are several classes of immigration to apply under. The most likely one from your question would be "skilled worker".

The process takes about 1-3+ years, and costs around $1,200 in fees and associated costs.
Once you are given Permanent Resident status, then after you live in Canada for over three years, you can apply for Citizenship. If you are currently a U.S. Citizen, you can have dual citizenship (many people will erroneously tell you otherwise).
Real Estate is expensive in Vancouver. Rentals are a bit easier ... but you should expect to pay between $900 and $1,200 for a basic two bedroom apt, depending on location and amenities.

Real Estate is very hot in all of the Vancouver area. Unlike alot of the states property values have continued to climb significantly. However prices are unlikely to drop much so buying is still a good idea. You are not likely to find anything decent for less than 1200/mos renting in a decent area of Vancouver. Personally my home has went up about 40% in the last 5/6 years.
If you have any sort of trade, profession, you will likely be able to get citizenship or obtain residency in Canada.

Its cheaper in the suburbs we live in Burnaby $ 650 for aone bedroom near Metrotown. Lots of work the Olympics are comming..check tourismvancouver.
