i put "very" as a filler in me crossword for school
can you help me give a clue for it?

Let's make two cryptic clues.
1). Extremely light (4).
The answer is "very" (2 meanings) because
a Very light is a distress signalling device on ships.
It was invented by Admiral Edward Very.

2). An enhanced version of the above with
4 meanings is
Admiral's extremely light pistol (4)
Because a Very pistol is also used for firing
signalling flares.
Not often one can get 4 meanings of the
same word in the same clue!

You could use a sentence as a clue,
Example: It's _____ nice. or It's ____ big. Something along those lines would work.
