....a few, short years with someone to love?

If I would truly be happy, then I guess I would choose alone and happy forever because sometimes you can love but the person might not love you back that and all the drama that love comes with so I would definitely would rather have happiness.

Well, I would be ok if I had my children and I was alone in the love-life department but, if I didnt have kids, I would want that short time with someone wonderful rather than nothing at all...

Dunno...but maybe short years with someone you love because even if you have love for a little while it makes you feel all good inside like when you stop when opening presents during Christmas and listen, thats love!! Love is great but having your family with you is even better because you know they will love you no matter what...as for guys who cares...after a while they can get stupid!!! Like the saying boys will be boys and same for middle aged men!!

Meow's right. Friend of mine said, "Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all", when her husband died after just one year of marriage. He had muscular dystrophy, but won a newspaper's "Man of the Year" award for his services to the community - although he could only use a computer with his mouth by that time. She said that the joy of once knowing yourself loved stays with you forever. So you can have both.

Incidentally, "the joy of the Lord" was her strength too, and her husband's."

I couldn't imagine being happy without having ever known my love. So, if I only had another few, short minutes in this side of life, I would want to spend them with her, just to hold her, and tell her I love her more.

Alone and happy forever.

Happiness is inside each one of us. The moment we hold anyone else responsible for that happiness, we have given it away. If you love yourself, you are happy. If you love yourself, you radiate love and become love. You don't need another person for that to happen. When you become love, you attract love and you will never be alone.
